The rapid pace of work and busy life in the city have made people pay more attention to their own health, and the trend of home exercise and home health care has risen, which has also promoted miniaturized and intelligent home health equipment into the lives of thousands of households. Undisturbed by the weather, home aerobic companion home treadmill, and post-exercise muscle relaxation artifact fascia gun are favored by healthy people in the market.


In response to the market demand for these health devices, Jinxin Electronics has launched board-level solutions for home treadmills and fascia guns based on its DSP main control chip and its own square wave and FOC control algorithms to help customers accelerate the process of product development and market introduction.


Part.1/ Treadmill application scheme

On the one hand, home treadmills face the upgrading needs of users such as miniaturization and intelligence, and at the same time, fierce competition leads to cost sensitivity, etc., so the market is mostly brushed motors used in old gyms, or brushless motor solutions with external sensing, which greatly affects the running performance and sensing accuracy of treadmill motors, and the overall failure rate of brushed solutions is very high, so that the runner's experience is not good. Therefore, the inductive brushless motor control solution with simple structure, easy installation and high cost performance has become an urgent need for the majority of treadmill manufacturers.


Based on the 32-bit DSP chip ADP32F034, the brushless treadmill solution of Jinxin Electronics has sufficient computing power and peripheral resources, and has the advantage of low cost, which can implement the sensorless FOC core algorithm more accurately and efficiently.

The ADP32Fx's PWM module uses SVPWM technology to generate 6 pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals to drive 6 power switching devices. The ADC module samples the current signals Ia and Ib of the motor's two phase lines. The voltage of the DC bus is sent to the AD pin of the chip by a resistor voltage division.


Part.2/ Fascia gun application scheme

The fascia gun solution is based on the cost-effective 16-bit DSP chip of the core ADP16F03 series to realize a variety of intelligent control of the handheld fascia gun.

Program Overview


The fascia gun is composed of a shell, a massage head, a transmission mechanism, a drive device and a control device. The control device has a built-in 12V lithium battery, with a voltage output range of 9V~12.6V and a total capacity of about 2500mAh. A phone charger that supports 5V/2A charges it. The control panel is equipped with 1 function button and 6 LED lights, 4 of which are used for gear indication and 2 status indications. The drive adopts a 12V DC brushless motor with a maximum rated speed of 3200rpm.



Smart health function design:


Stopping and unloading: When the motor is detected, it automatically switches to the blocking mode and intelligently tries to start the force, and once the blockage is relaxed, the motor immediately resumes operation.

Fast charging: It can be fully charged from empty state in 3~4 hours with a 5V/2A adapter.

Strong power: can withstand 25Kg pressure at high speed without blocking the rotation.

10-minute healthy massage: The high-strength massage can be set to a 10-minute health mode, and the machine will automatically shut off in 10 minutes to prevent excessive massage from causing damage to the body.
